Begun in 1994, Dartpac is a manufacturer of sustainable packaging for the beverage industry with particular focus on the coffee trade. Over time Dartpac has grown into a multi-operation enterprise with distribution sites in Cape Town, Gqeberha, KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng, and Bloemfontein.

​​Dartpac led the way by becoming the first paper cup manufacturer in South Africa to produce compostable cups, using corn starch coated board (PLA coated). Today 85% of our total cup production is in compostable paper cups. More about our sustainability journey here.

Current operations include:

1. A Moulded Fibre Lid Thermoforming Plant
2. A Moulded Fibre Cup Carrier Thermoforming Plant
3. A Paper Converting and Printing Plant

These four factories are housed on a single site in Somerset West and products distributed nationally through our own warehousing network. These consist of:
​

1. Central Distribution site in Bellville
2. Warehouse and logistics in Gqeberha, KZN, Bloemfontein and JHB.
3. Logistics into Namibia and Botswana​​
